Welcome to my website. I hope you find it informative and helpful. I have been an active member of the Michiana community for over 32 years, beginning my financial services career in 1986, following ten (10) years as CEO of a not-for-profit human services organization.
Managing the financial resources which God has provided and being a good steward can be a daunting task. It is my hope and purpose to help you do just that. This includes vital risk management issues of life, disability and long term care insurance products. It also addresses adequate planning for educational expenses, a secure retirement and charitable giving.
I completed my professional designations through the American College of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1990 and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 1991. I have served as a director and/or officer of the North Central Indiana Chapter of the American Society of Financial Service Professionals, the North Central Indiana Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Estate Planning Council of Michiana. I am also a member of the Mishawaka Business Association.
I've been a long standing advocate of the Arts, with involvement and support of WVPE-FM Public Radio, WAUS-FM, WNIT-TV, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra, the Firefly Festival, and South Bend Civic Theatre, where I have served on the board of directors from 2000 - present. I have also served on the Executive Board of the LaSalle Council, Boy Scouts of America and chairperson of the Council's endowment committee. As a member of Clay United Methodist Church, I sing in the choir, am a member of the board of the foundation, a member of the administrative council, part of the leadership team for Men's Ministries, and a past member of trustees and staff/parish relations committees. I have also served in the Sidewalk Sunday School ministry for over 13 years.
My Bachelors Degree was earned from Wabash College. I also have a Masters Degree in counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, and did post graduate work in industrial psychology at Indiana/Purdue University of Indianapolis. As part of my continuing professional development, I complete in excess of twenty (20) hours of continuing education each year.
